Bounce Back 2 Health offers a wide range of services and programmes to support you.
Each client who comes to Bounce Back 2 Health undergoes a comprehensive assessment. This includes:
- Pre-exercise medical screening
- Blood pressure and resting heart rate measurement
- Anthropometric measures
- Strength, flexibility and balance assessments
- Cardiorespiratory endurance testing
Following an assessment, clients are prescribed an exercise programme tailored to their needs. This may be in the form of a gym, pool or home-based programme. An emphasis is placed on completing each of the prescribed exercises with correct technique, so as to work the targeted areas and prevent injury.
Rebate and Payment Schemes
All individual Exercise Physiology consultations are charged on a per session basis. Clients may be eligible for one of the following rebate schemes.
Private Health Insurance
Clients can access our Exercise Physiology services privately, without a referral. Claims can be made with most private health insurers, with the rebate available dependent upon the company and level of cover.
Chronic Disease Management Plans
Clients with a chronic health condition may be eligible for a rebate from Medicare for up to 5 sessions in a calendar year. In order to access this scheme, clients must obtain an Individual Chronic Disease Management Plan referral from their GP (see link below).
Department of Veterans Affairs
Clients with a DVA Gold Card and D904 referral form signed by their GP (see link below) may be eligible for fully funded Exercise Physiology treatment. Treatment however, must be deemed ‘clinically necessary’. Equally, white card holders may be eligible, depending upon the health condition/s covered by the card.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Clients with funding under the NDIS may be eligible for Exercise Physiology services. It is important that clients discuss this in their NDIS planning sessions so that funds can be allocated to the area of ‘Health and Wellbeing’.
Worker’s Compensation and CTP Claims
Clients undergoing rehabilitation for a workplace or motor vehicle accident injury may be eligible for fully funded Exercise Physiology treatment. Clients must obtain a written referral from their GP and receive approval from their insurer prior to the commencement of treatment.
